This course aims to provide the fundamental economic tools for students of business and management degrees. The subjects covered include oligopoly pricing, cartel formation, bundling and pricing strategies, multistage and repeated games risk sharing, vertical contracting and many other strategies of firms enjoying market power.
- are able to analyze and identify different market situations which require specific strategic action of involved players,
- are able to conceptually develop optimal strategic business and management decisions,
- are able to understand the possibilities and limits of the conceptual ideas discussed for the application in real life cases.
